Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Jerri Carpenter
I am so excited to begin the 2017 - 2018 school year as your child’s Resource Teacher.
My teaching career began in 1998 when I took my first full time teaching position at Seminole County Elementary School in Donalsonville, GA. The next year, I began teaching in Dothan City Schools and remained there teaching special education and general education until 2007 when my family moved to Baldwin County, AL. In Baldwin County, I taught special education at Elberta Elementary until we moved back to Dothan in 2009. I then returned to Dothan and Hidden Lake Elementary where I taught 4th and 5th grades until May 2015.
I am actually a graduate of Rehobeth High School, and am so very excited to teach at my alma mater. I attended Wallace College, where I met my husband, Heath. I transferred to Troy University Dothan and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and my Master’s Degree in Special Education.
I am married to Heath Carpenter, and we have two sons. Matthew is 17 years old and a senior at RHS. Dylan is 13 years old and is in the 8th grade at RMS. I enjoy reading, cooking, and watching my boys in their activities.
I absolutely love teaching and am so excited to work with you and your child this year!
