All Students at Rehobeth Elementary School attend a General Music Education class for one-30 minute session each week. Students come to Music with their homeroom class and are assessed (graded) based on their participation in each week's lesson. Music lessons include the study of Music Theory, Music History, and Music Appreciation.
Students in Grades K-2 attend Music class once a week. In their Music classes they learn about Musical Instruments, Music Composers, and Music Theory (notes, signs, & symbols) with singing, movement, large and small group activities, musical games & activities.
Each grade level in K-2 will perform a special program once during the school year. This year our 2nd grade students will perform a Veteran's Day program; our 1st grade students will perform a Christmas program; and our Kindergarten classes will perform musical selections at their Kindergarten Graduation program.
