Mrs. Julie Bump

Hello!  My name is Julie Bump, and I teach 4th grade.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Philip Bump, for 23 years.  We have two daughters, Cailey and Carley.  Cailey  graduated from RHS, and Carley is 14 years old.  We also have two bassett hounds named Cooper and Claire.  I graduated from Houston County High School in 1993. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Troy University Dothan. While attending college at Troy University, I observed and taught lessons in all grade levels, K-6.  My internship experience included teaching 2nd grade at Faine Elementary School in Dothan, AL. and teaching 5th grade at Southdale Middle School in Pinckard, AL.  After graduating in December of 2009, I substituted in all grade levels from kindergarten through sixth grade for the Dothan City and Houston County School systems.  I began teaching 4th grade at Rehobeth Elementary School in 2010, where I have been ever since.  I absolutely love teaching 4th graders!!! I am so blessed to be involved with Rehobeth Elementary School and faculty who truly care about students!

I am thankful that I get to be a part of your child's educational success.  Again this year, our 4th grade students will be changing classes.  I partner with Mrs. Shoupe, and I teach math, Alabama history, and science.  Mrs. Shoupe teaches reading, grammar, and spelling.

I look forward to a wonderful year with your child!
